Modern Master Bathroom Remodel
This Master bathroom remodel is the 2nd project for these homeowners. The first was a kitchen repaint. This particular bathroom had a lot of very poorly finished dark wood. It also had an unusual structural piece practically in the center of the space.
I redesigned the space and had to do some structural work, but we were able to remove the old structural support and open the space up. It was a great size space with some odd ball closets and doors.
All of the closets were redesigned to make the most use them. New single, recessed panel doors to the closet were a great choice and 2 pairs had mirrored panels applied.
The current house had no other bathtub, so we included a small soaking tub on the tiled area right outside of the new enlarged shower. The shower was concealed with a frosted privacy panel that ran horizontally in the center of the door.
The vanities were built, finished and installed by Profile Cabinet and Stone. These gave them adequate storage and the exposed towel shelf on the bottom.
The use of porcelain tiles with a Cararra Marble look was used on the floor outside the shower and on the shower walls as well. Another clean and timeless look with new oak floors.
